Gosh, she's just like those 9-11 firefighters. Guest post by the Head.
Since the Evil Doctor is completely out of posting ideas/ dead drunk in a gutter somewhere I thought I'd bring this to your attention since I know it is one of ED's favorite subjects.
Remember that woman that was held at gunpoint in her apartment a couple of months ago in Gerogia? And eventually she talked her way out of it?
Well she's got a book deal now. And the title of the book is "Unlikely Angel: The Untold Story of the Atlanta Hostage Hero"
Wow! She saved her own life! Give her a friggin' medal! What a hero!
C'mon people. Self-preservation is not heroic.
Saving your own life is hardwired. Hero shit is doing shit against your better instincts.
Just completely ridiculous. CNN always has these people on.
Jesus Christ, according to this logic, Jared from Subway is a hero.
Here's a couple of heroic things:
Running into a burning building to save someone.
Donating an organ.
Charging a machine gun nest.
I'm not belaboring this point any further. It''s fucking obvious. You get the idea.

And the story isn't "untold" we heard about it constantly on CNN.
The same people who get the def. of Hero mixed up the same ones who get the def. of tragedy mixed up. Dummyheads.
